Lady Jackets Ranked 5th in Midwest Region

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana
State-Billings women’s soccer team is out to an 8-0-0 start to
the 2006 season and have been ranked fifth by the NSCAA in the
Midwest Region in a recent poll.
This marks the first time this
season that the Jackets have been ranked in the poll. Metro
State College (7-0-0) is currently ranked first in the Midwest
Region and second nationally. Metro State and MSU Billings will
meet head-to-head October 2 in Denver, Colorado. Heartland
Conference opponent St. Edward’s (4-1-1), was also in the poll,
ranking fourth in the Midwest Region and 24th
nationally. The Yellowjackets will square off against St.
Edward’s October 22 in Austin, Texas and again on the Jackets’
home field October 28. |
