Lady Jacket Soccer Jumps into Regional Rankings (9/14/05)

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings women’s soccer team vaulted to the No. 5 spot in this week’s NCAA Division II Midwest Region rankings published by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.  The Yellowjackets, 5-1-1 overall, were unranked in the first poll of the season last week.

The Yellowjackets have faced two of the other teams ranked in the Midwest Region’s top 10.  MSU Billings tied No. 4 Fort Lewis on August 28 and defeated No. 7 St. Mary’s on September 5.  The Yellowjackets will play at No. 6 University of the Incarnate Word on October 21.  The next game for MSU Billings is September 18 at Carroll College in Helena.
