Carlin Hughes, a 6-1 sophomore from Perth, Australia, led the nation in assists for the second week in a row.  Hughes averaged 10.4 assists per game through the ranking period.

Seniors Buddy Windy Boy and Moritz Wohlers were also among national stats leaders.  Windy Boy, a senior guard from Lodge Grass, MT, was sixth in the nation for made 3-pointers per game at 3.8 and 39th for 3-point percentage at 43.2.  Wohlers, a senior center from Wolfenbuttel, Germany, was 43rd for rebounding, averaging 8.6 rebounds per game.

The Yellowjackets wrap up their three-game trip to Texas on Saturday when they face defending Heartland Conference champion St. Mary’s University.  MSU Billings is currently in first place in the conference standings with a 3-0 record.  St. Mary’s is 7-8 overall and 1-1 in the conference.  The game will be aired live on AM 970 in Billings starting at 6:30 p.m. MST.
