Samuelson Transferring to Play Basketball for Yellowjackets (Aug. 2, 2004)

BILLINGS, MT – Montana State University-Billings head basketball coach Craig Carse has announced that Cody Samuelson is transferring from Montana State University-Bozeman to play basketball for the Yellowjackets next season.

Samuelson, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound sophomore from Broadus, Mont., played football at MSU-Bozeman.  He saw playing time at tight end for the Bobcats before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the season.  He will be listed as a forward on the Jackets’ roster.

A graduate of Powder River County High School, Samuelson was a three-time all-state basketball player and a two-time all-state quarterback.  His brother, Shawn, was a standout basketball player at the University of Montana.
