Lady Yellowjacket Volleyball Set for Clash in the Foothills (August 28, 2003)

BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings volleyball team will find out this weekend if their newfound confidence is justified.  With only four players returning from last year’s squad that finished 9-18, coach Pa’ulasi Matavao thinks many of the newcomers will make the team stronger this season.  (See MSUB Volleyball Preview.)

The Yellowjackets will be in Colorado for the weekend at the Clash in the Foothills Tournament, jointly hosted by Colorado Christian and Colorado School of Mines.  MSUB will face Colorado Mines at 2:00 p.m. and Chadron State (NE) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.  Both of those matches will be in Golden, CO. 

On Saturday the Jackets will start out in Lakewood, CO with a 10:00 a.m. match against Ouachita Baptist University.  They will then travel back to Golden for a 4:00 p.m. match against Division-I Wayne State University.
