Started all 16 games in 2002...tied for second on the squad for goals scored with three...tied for second for total points with seven...posted team highs with 40 shots and 13 shots on goal...received "Quest for Excellence" award for demonstrating exceptional teamwork, dedication, discipline, and passion for the program...after two seasons, ranks third in school history for goals scored...has started every game in her college career...graduated from East High School in 2001...honor roll student who was a member of the National Honor Society...completed honors courses in English, math, history, biology, and physics...lettered three years in soccer and four years in basketball...earned all-state honors in basketball as a senior...named second team all-state in soccer as a junior and senior...team won state title in 1999, finished runner-up in 1997 and 2000...was Yellowjackets’ leading scorer as a freshman...parents are Charsti Merrill and Vinson Johnson of Salt Lake City...majoring in sociology and history.
