MSU Billings Competes at MSU-Bozeman Invitational (September 21, 2002)
BOZEMAN, MT – The MSU Billings
cross-country team traveled to Bozeman on Saturday
for the Yellowjackets’ second meet of the year.
Chelsea Lynnes and Josh Jones were the Jackets’ top
finishers, placing 24th and 40th respectively.
The MSU Billings men’s team was
once again running short handed. Jones finished the
5-mile course in 28:11. Teammate Brian Fosjord
finished 49th in 30:32, and Ryan
Archibald took 51st in 32:06.
Lynnes led the women’s team
again, running the 3-mile course in 19:11. Ellen
Swogger finished 35th in
19:41; Kelly Long finished 37th in 19:50; Anjel
Hoff finished 38th in 19:58; Mandy Brown
finished 54th in 21:59; Colleen Knudson
finished 55th in 22:14; Tracie Overberg
finished 57th in 22:21; Kendra Bebee
finished 58th in 23:00; and Abbie Strutz
finished 59th in 24:41.
The Yellowjackets’ next meet is
October 5 at the University of Colorado Invitational
in Boulder, Colorado.
