Yellowjacket Softball Games Cancelled at Minot State (April 16, 2003)

BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings softball team made it halfway to Minot, ND before it learned that its double-header at Minot State was cancelled due to cold weather and wet field conditions.  The team turned back and returned to Glendive, where the Yellowjackets will play a B-squad double-header exhibition against Dawson Community College on Thursday. 

MSUB will return home for a Friday exhibition double-header against a club team from Eastern Washington University.  The Jackets will then close out the season with four games at home at Cenex Stadium and six on the road.  Following is the remaining Yellowjacket softball schedule.

April 17 – at Dawson CC (exhibition)
April 18 – vs. Eastern Washington (exhibition at Cenex Stadium)
April 21 – at Dickinson State (rescheduled from April 2 rainout)
April 25 – vs. Hawaii-Hilo * (at Cenex Stadium)
April 26 – vs. Hawaii-Hilo * (at Cenex Stadium)
May 2 – vs. Western New Mexico * (at Colorado Springs)
May 3 – vs. Western New Mexico * (at Colorado Springs)
