MSU Billings Men's Soccer Team Back in
Action This Week (September 18, 2002)
BILLINGS - The Montana State
University men's soccer team continues its road campaign this week
as the Yellowjackets travel to Nampa, Idaho for two games.
MSUB (1-4) will face Westminster College on Thursday and Northwest
Nazarene University on Friday.
The Yellowjackets will be looking to avenge a 5-2 loss to
Westminster. The two teams met on September 1 at a
tournament in Salt Lake City.
MSU Billings hasn't played since September 7, when they lost at
Whitworth College. With twelve days of rest between games,
coach Seigle's squad has had time to heal a few minor injuries.
With about half of the players new to the program this year, the
break also gave the Jackets time to work on the things they
learned in their first five games together.
The Yellowjackets will have their home opener next week when they
host the University of Mary on September 26 at 4:00 p.m.
MSUB has also added an October 26 home game against Flathead
Community College. That game will begin at 1:30 p.m. |
