Season Outlook
After transferring to MSU Billings last year from
Casper College in Wyoming, Paulson made an immediate
impact on the court for the Yellowjackets. She
was second on the team in total digs with 349 and
third in digs-per-game with 3.20. While her
numbers were impressive as a junior, Paulson is
expected to become one of the team's offensive and
defensive leaders as a senior. Her 46 total
blocks were four on the team in 2001, but she'll
find more opportunities at the net this year because
two of the top three blockers from last year's squad
have graduated. Paulson should also become
more of a force on the attack this year. She
recorded 71 kills as a junior and posted the
second-most service aces as any player returning in
2002. |
